MCCRACKEN COUNTY SCHOOLS TO PARTICIPATE IN 2024 SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM

McCracken County Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program.  Meals will be provided to all children under 18 years of age. Meals will be provided free of charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. There will be no discrimination during the meal service.  Meals will be provided, on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The following schools will have meals for those that wish to attend and eat on-site:

  • Concord Elementary School 5184 Highway 60                    

    • June 3rd through July 26th, 8-9:30 am & 11 am-12:30 pm

  • Health Elementary School 4365 Metropolis Lake Rd.        

    • June 3rd through June 28th 8-9:30am & 11am-12:30pm

  • Health Middle School 4336 Metropolis Lake Rd.

    • June 3rd through June 20th (Mon-Thur only) 8-9:30am & 11am-12:00pm

  • Lone Oak Elementary School 301 Cumberland Ave.          

    • June 3rd through June 28th 7:00-8:00am & 11-11:45am

  • Reidland Intermediate School 5347 Benton Rd.                  

    • June 3rd through June 28th 8-8:30am & 11am-12pm

  • Hendron Lone Oak Elementary 2501 Marshall Dr.             

    • June 3rd through June 28th, 8-8:30 am & 11:30 am-12:30 pm

 McCracken County will also have 7-day breakfast and lunch meal bag pick-up sites for those that are not attending onsite meal summer programs. To register for one of these pick-you locations, please reach out to your local McCracken County School FRYSC contact. Pre-registration for pick-up meals is required and children must be present at pick-up.

 The following schools will be pick-up locations for meals for those who aren’t attending to receive an onsite meal:

    • June 4th through June 25th Tuesdays only 11 am-1 pm

The McCracken County School Food Service offers ten local cafeterias within a twelve-school district.  Each cafeteria is dedicated to serving the students a nutritionally appetizing breakfast and lunch meal at the lowest price possible. You may prepay your child's meals in all twelve schools. We use a debit system to track your child's account.

MySchoolBucks:

MySchoolBucks.jpgFamilies may use MySchoolBucks to deposit funds into student meal accounts. MySchoolBucks enables families to deposit funds, monitor student account balances online, receive low balance email reminders and view cafeteria purchases. 

Free and Reduced Applications:

You must complete a new Free and Reduced Application yearly for your child to qualify for breakfast and lunch meals.  If your children receives free or reduced price school meals, they may also be able to get free or low-cost health insurance through Medicaid or the State Children's Health Insurance Program (KCHIP).

McCracken County Food Service is a self-sustaining program with State and Federal funding for student meals served daily.
